Footprints – a new version

Often times, we, followers of Jesus Christ, forgot to enjoy the intimate relationship with Jesus. We know that we need to follow Jesus, and we know that He will carry us through the difficult times in our lives, but we forget that we CAN celebrate and dance with Him after the difficulties. It seems that we only remember to cast our burden onto the Lord Jesus, but we forget that we should surely share our joy with Him. 春假反击战

春天到了，万物复苏，一点都不假。我们前后院的杂草的复苏能力远远超过我们种的草，尤其是后院，一眼望去，绿油油的一片。也难怪，去年有一半的地因为撒种太晚，结果种子刚刚发出嫩芽，冬天就到了，那些可怜的小草就呜呼哀哉了。今年一开春，没有长草的地方就疯狂地长杂草，杂草在风中飘逸，简直就是在向我们示威。 春假我们跟着学生沾光，周四和周五得以放假。妻子请了一天假，于是全家（包括岳父母，Tristan和Abigail）向杂草发动反攻。我们花了两天的时间，把后院长杂草的地方全部翻了一遍，把杂草全部连根翻出来，装了满满一垃圾桶（40加仑的那种）；然后又把地耙平，再重新撒草籽，希望今年草坪能够长起来。 岳父母老当益壮，翻起土来不比我们慢，看得出年轻时干过很多农活，吃过很多苦。 两天下来感到腰酸背痛，不过看着后院平平整整的地，幻想着绿绿的草坪，觉得还是值得的，还是有一点劳动的喜悦的。
